Crypt of the Wizard is proud to present the debut demo from Northampton's Accelerated Decay entitled Nocturnal Divination.

Playing real evil metal the old way Accelerated Decay's opening gambit takes form in these first three songs laying out a dark demented stall of rotten black death or what the band would call True Heavy Metal.

Nocturnal Divination speaks of moonlight rituals conducted with blood and dagger under the cloak of darkness deep in the old cemetery. With a backdrop of raw early 90s riffs played at a ferocious clip. These songs are as miserable as they are memorable and will leave you hungering for more which we are assured will be coming soon!

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Absolutely in love with the full length album (check it out too!!) "The Conquest..." I decided to get the demo too. A bit unfair that I discovered the newest first, so this is biased in a way, but the demo definitely sets the solid ground for what is to come next.
